BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 21. COP29 is set to open on November 11, with a global leaders' summit on climate action scheduled for November 12-13, Member of the Coordination Council of the COP29 Operating Company Ayan Najaf said at a seminar on “Understanding and analyzing ESG (environmental, social, and corporate governance) reports,”Trend reports.
According to her, November 14 will be dedicated to finance, investment, and trade; November 15 will focus on energy, peace, aid, and recovery; and November 16 will highlight science, technology, innovation, and digitalization.
Notably, November 17 will be a day off with no planned thematic programs on the docket.
On November 18, the focus will shift to human capital, children and youth, health, and education. November 19 will cover food, agriculture, and water, followed by urbanization, transport, and tourism on November 20. November 21 will address nature, biodiversity, indigenous peoples, gender equality, oceans, and coastal areas, with concluding discussions set for November 22.
