BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 19. We are pleased to announce Azerbaijan's participation in the Twelfth Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF12), one of the key international platforms influencing global #urbanisation policies. The forum, organised by UN Human Settlements Programme will take place from November 4-8 in Cairo, Egypt, Trend reports, citing the Azerbaijan's State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture.
At WUF12, Azerbaijan will showcase a pavilion highlighting our achievements in urban planning and architecture. Under the theme "Building Back Better: Azerbaijan’s Journey to Sustainable and Peaceful Urban Development" country will present innovative solutions aimed at creating sustainable cities, promoting climate initiatives, developing partnerships, implementing reforms, of course, discussing our Great Return program. The delegation led by the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture will aslo take part in dialogues on sustainable urban development, innovation, and climate resilience.
