BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 18. The discussions focused on the allied relationship between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, as well as cooperation within regional and international organizations. They also addressed the current situation in the post-conflict region and broader global security challenges, Trend reports via Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry .

Minister Bayramov expressed appreciation to Türkiye for facilitating another meeting in the "3+3" format. He highlighted the increasing importance of such consultative mechanisms and collaborative efforts in light of the rapidly evolving security landscape both regionally and globally.

The meeting emphasized the significance of the strong ties between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, alongside their mutual support within regional and international frameworks.

Bayramov provided insights into the realities in the region following the conflict and discussed the ongoing normalization process with Armenia. He pointed out that challenges remain in the peace process, particularly regarding Armenia's territorial claims enshrined in its constitution, which continue to be a concern. He noted that Armenia has not systematically addressed these issues.

Additionally, the Azerbaijani minister updated his counterpart on preparations for the upcoming 29th session of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29). The meeting reaffirmed Türkiye's ongoing support for Azerbaijan's peaceful initiatives in the region and included discussions on other matters of mutual interest.
