BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 18. The third meeting of the South Caucasus Regional Cooperation Platform in the "3+" format will be held in Istanbul tomorrow. The foreign ministers of Türkiye, Russia, Iran, Armenia and Azerbaijan will hold a meeting, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said, Trend reports.
He noted that they will hold talks on the Caucasus, as well as the Azerbaijani-Armenian issue. The minister said that Türkiye is closely following this issue within the framework of the overall peace process in the South Caucasus.
The minister said that Azerbaijan and Türkiye act as a single state on many sensitive issues.
Hakan Fidan added that Türkiye believes that historical and formal peace with Armenia will indeed pave the way for irreversible stability, prosperity and development in the region.
