SHUSHA, Azerbaijan, October 17. Azerbaijan has shown its might to the world by liberating its lands from occupation, Sona Mammadova, an Azerbaijani residing in Georgia who recently visited Shusha, told Trend.
"Today, we came from Georgia to our native Shusha. It is hard to express our joy and pride in words. Thanks to the efforts of President and Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijani lands were liberated from occupation. May the Almighty rest the souls of the martyrs who gave their lives for the liberation of our homeland," she said.
To note, a group of Georgia-based Azerbaijanis set off on a journey to the territories of Azerbaijan liberated from Armenian occupation. Shusha was the initial destination for the trip's participants. They will tour the city's historical landmarks and receive a wealth of information regarding Shusha.
