BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 17. The finalists for the second day of the 15th European TeamGym Championship, making their debut in Baku, have been set in stone, Trend reports.

The showdown at the National Gymnastics Arena brought together 8 men's teams, all ready to leave it all on the mat.

The Danish team hit the ground running, racking up 64,000 points, while Sweden wasn't far behind with 59,800 points. Norway came in with a score hovering around 59,300, and the United Kingdom managed to pull in 50,900 points. Portugal followed closely with 50,550 points, and Italy, not wanting to be left in the dust, rounded out the pack with 50,500 points, all making the cut for the final.

Earlier in the day, women’s and mixed teams took to the floor. In the women’s event, Iceland hit the ground running with a score of 53.250, while Denmark followed closely behind at 51.200. Norway, not too far off, landed at 48.750, with Great Britain just a hair behind at 48.550, and Finland rounding things out at 47.900 to clinch their spots in the finals.

Meanwhile, in the mixed competition, Denmark reached an impressive milestone of 58.000, while Great Britain followed closely with 52.500. Sweden showcased a strong performance at 52.100, and Iceland made significant strides with 51.100. Norway contributed with a solid score of 49.300, and Italy rounded out the achievements with 48.325, all propelling themselves into the final stage.
