DUSHANBE, Tajikistan, October 17. The expansion of partnership between China and Tajikistan in the industrial sector is crucial for both countries, said Sherali Kabir, the Minister of Industry and New Technologies of Tajikistan, Trend reports.
According to the ministry, he made this remark at the China Mining 2024 international forum and exhibition.
"We believe that expanding our partnership in the fields of industry and new technologies is crucial for our countries. We are convinced that joint efforts and innovative approaches will help us reach new heights in the development of our economies and ensure the prosperity of our peoples," said Kabir.
At the end of his speech, the minister invited industry ministers from China, Türkiye, South Africa, Zimbabwe, and other foreign participants to attend the first international investment forum and exhibition for the mining and metallurgical sector in Tajikistan, scheduled for October 29-30 in Dushanbe.
The Tajik delegation will hold separate meetings with representatives from the industry ministries of China, Turkey, and South Africa, as well as major investment companies ranked among the top 500 globally, during that forum.
Since 1999, China Mining 2024 has been an annual international conference and exhibition. The event has grown to become one of the largest and most influential platforms for addressing issues within the mining industry. In 2024, the theme of the event is "Promoting Mining Cooperation for a Better Future."
