BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 17. As part of COP29, an event titled "Best Practices for Preparing Biennial Transparency Reports (BTR) in Eurasia, Asia, and the Caucasus" was held, Trend reports.
The aim of the event was to enhance participants' knowledge in this area and encourage countries to submit their first BTR reports by December 31, 2024, creating a trusting environment for cooperation.
The event featured presentations on best practices and success stories from countries that have completed and submitted their BTR reports to the UNFCCC Secretariat. A Q&A session also addressed technical challenges, practical solutions, and potential flexibility in the process.
