NAKHCHIVAN, Azerbaijan, October 19. A roadmap for the implementation of green energy projects is being developed in Nakhchivan, Deputy Head of the State Energy Service of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Acting Head Maharram Abbasov told reporters, Trend reports.
According to him, Azerbaijan is pursuing a very successful investment policy, particularly in the energy sector.
"Azerbaijan has developed significant experience in working with foreign companies. Thirteen businesses representing eight nations signed the "Contract of the Century" thirty years ago. This is Azerbaijan's biggest B2G model. Many of these foreign businesses are still active in Azerbaijan today. Nakhchivan is hosting meetings of international energy giants, including Total Energies, Czech Engineering, Nobel Energy, Masdar, ACWA Power, China Energy, "Notus" and others, to develop "green" energy projects. In this direction, a roadmap is being developed. All these investments in energy are directed towards the sector of renewable and alternative energy sources," Abbasov stated.
