BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 18. Azerbaijan and Armenia have agreed to intensify efforts to finalize a peace treaty, Trend reports.
According to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the agreement was reached following a meeting between Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan in Istanbul, held as part of the “3+3” regional platform.
“The parties continued talks on the Agreement on Peace and Interstate Relations and agreed to step up efforts to conclude it as soon as possible,” the statement reads.
