BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 21. The vote count for Moldova's presidential elections is underway, Trend reports.
So far, the Central Election Commission (CEC) has processed 92,7% of the ballots. According to preliminary results, Maia Sandu has garnered 38,56% of the votes, while Alexandru Stoianoglo has received 28,41%.

Voting in Moldova's presidential elections has officially ended.
Polling stations across the country closed at 21:00 local time.
The CEC reported a voter turnout of 1,553,234 people, or 51.51%.
By 23:00, the CEC had processed 54.75% of the ballots. Preliminary results show that incumbent President Maia Sandu has secured 35.88% of the vote.
