BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 21. The new co-chair of the interparliamentary commission between Azerbaijan and Russia has been appointed, Trend reports.
The First Deputy Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament, Ali Ahmadov, has been appointed as the co-chairman of the commission on interparliamentary cooperation between the Azerbaijani Parliament and the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. He succeeds MP Ali Huseynli in this role.
Additionally, the deputy chairman of the Azerbaijani parliament, Ziyafat Askerov, has been designated as the chairman of the Commission on Interparliamentary Cooperation with the State Duma of the Russian Federation.
