KHANKENDI, Azerbaijan, October 21. Georgia remains an independent state and prioritizes its interests, the former Georgian MP Mahir Darziyev told Trend during his visit to Khankendi.
“Therefore, any pressure is unacceptable. Each sovereign state pursues a policy that meets its interests,” he said.
Referring to Azerbaijani-Georgian relations, Darziyev noted that they are developing upward in all spheres and are of strategic importance.
“Recently, these relations have reached a peak in all spheres,” he added.
To note, the parliamentary election in Georgia is scheduled for October 26.
