BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 21. The meeting of Azerbaijan's Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship was held, Trend reports.
According to the information, Chairman of the Committee Azer Amiraslanov, reported on the matters included in the meeting's agenda.
Concerning the initial matter - the draft legislation amending the laws "On the Basis of Municipalities' Finances," "On the Budget System," and "On Non-Cash Settlements" (first reading), Azer Amiraslanov indicated that the document mandates the incorporation of municipal budget revenues and expenditures within the information system of the authority overseeing municipal activities.
Regarding the second issue—the draft law amending the "On Protection of Consumer Rights" legislation—the Committee Chairman indicated that the amendments were formulated to implement a minimum price requirement for the retail sale of alcoholic beverages.
Chairman of the Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship Azer Amiraslanov, Head of the Tariff and Price Policy Department of the Ministry of Economy Jeyhun Najafov and Head of the Main Department of Control over the turnover of excisable and labeled goods of the State Tax Service Azer Suleymanov clarified the issues raised by the deputies.
The draft laws discussed at the meeting were recommended for consideration in the first reading at the plenary session of the Azerbaijani Parliament.
