BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 5. New wells drilled at the Sehit Esma Chevik and Sehit Aybuke Yalcin fields in the province of Sirnak (Türkiye) produced 16,188 barrels of oil daily, Trend reports.
According to the Turkish TPAO (Türkiye Petrolleri Anonim Ortakligi, Turkish Petroleum Corporation) company, Türkiye has set an oil production record with a total production volume of 75,052 barrels.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced the discovery of new oil reserves in the southeastern province of Sirnak on May 2.
Moreover, oil production at Gabar Mountain is planned to increase to 100 thousand barrels by 2024.
