Azerbaijan and Baku Championships in three gymnastics disciplines kick off (PHOTO)

The Baku Championship in Acrobatics Gymnastics, Azerbaijan and Baku Championships in Aerobic Gymnastics, Azerbaijan and Baku Trampoline and Tumbling Championships kicked off at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku Dec. 6.

Men, women and mixed acrobat pairs, as well as men’s and women’s groups in the age categories "toddlers" (6-12 years old), "children" (11-16 years old), "pre-juniors" ( 12-18 years old) and "adults" (13 years old and older) perform on the first day of the competitions.

In three different age categories, trampoline athletes are also performing on the first day of the competitions.

The acrobats and aerobic gymnasts will perform on the second day of the competitions.

The athletes representing Azerbaijan’s Ojag and Neftchi Sport Clubs, Baku Gymnastics School, sports school of the Nizami district are taking part in the competitions.
