The Russian Export Center will finance the supply of Russian products and equipment for the transport and ICT sector of Azerbaijan, the head of the Russian Export Center (REC) office in Azerbaijan Nuri Guliyev told Trend.
According to Guliyev, today REC is working on financing the supply of KAMAZ trucks to Azerbaijan.
"We are also considering projects for the supply of radar equipment and aviation navigation from Russian 'Azimut' company. In addition, we plan to finance projects for the supply of IT equipment for smart cities. The projects of the 'Mir Wi-Fi' company, which is ready to connect the Baku Metro to the Wi-Fi network, are also being considered,” he said.
“Successful negotiations were held with representatives of the Russian 'Mechel' company on financing the supply of rails to Azerbaijan. Negotiations are also underway with Turkish companies in Azerbaijan," Guliyev said.
Guliyev also stressed that REC is negotiating with a company for the supply of fencing systems for rail and road transport.
"Successful negotiations were held with the State Agency for Highways of Azerbaijan and with Azerbaijan Railways CJSC," the head of the representative office said.
