Relations with the European and Euro-Atlantic institutions are the important aspects of Georgia's approach towards the international security issues, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili said.
He made the remarks while speaking at the Harvard Club in Brussels, Belgium.
"Georgia's integration into the EU is the most important and long-term guarantee of the country's stability," the prime minister stressed.
Regarding the short-term and medium-term guarantees of the region's stability, Garibashvili emphasized the utmost importance of NATO and the prospects for Georgia's accession to it.
"NATO's upcoming summit in Wales will provide the best opportunity to assess Georgia as a reliable partner," he added.
Georgia's prime minister underscored that the geostrategic dynamics of the Black Sea region constantly changes.
"Therefore, we insistently call on the EU and the U.S. to play a key role again in ensuring stability and security in the region," Garibashvili said.
