BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 23. The BRICS nations must create their own investment platform to optimize their economic potential and capitalize on global economic growth, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the BRICS summit in Kazan, Trend reports.
“In this regard, we propose the establishment of a new BRICS investment platform, which would serve as a robust mechanism to bolster our economies and furnish financial resources to nations in the global South and East,” he said.
The Russian President asserted that the establishment of the BRICS grain exchange would promote the development of equitable and reliable price indicators for goods and raw materials.
He also emphasized the need to transform the BRICS grain exchange into a full-fledged commodity exchange.
