BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 11. Eni and global investment firm KKR have finalized a deal under which KKR has increased its stake in Enilive, acquiring an additional 5% of the company’s share capital for approximately 601 million euros, Trend reports.
The transaction, initially announced in February, brings KKR’s total ownership in Enilive to 30%.
The deal reflects a post-money equity valuation of 11.75 billion euros for 100% of Enilive, Eni’s sustainable mobility-focused subsidiary. With this latest agreement, total proceeds for the Eni Group reach 3.6 billion euros, which includes a 500 million euro capital increase in Enilive aimed at supporting the company’s growth strategy.
The transaction has received the necessary approvals from the relevant regulatory authorities.
