BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 12. Iran's objective in indirect negotiations with the US is to reach a decent and fair agreement with an equitable position, said the country’s Foreign Minister, Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, Trend reports.
Speaking today during a press briefing in Oman's Muscat, Araghchi added that if the other side also demonstrates this position, it could be possible to make decisions regarding the timeline of the negotiations.
Araghchi emphasized that many fundamental and initial issues would be addressed in the discussions, which would focus solely on Iran’s nuclear program.
Negotiations between Iran and the United States are set to take place today in Oman, led by Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi and the US Special Representative for Middle East Affairs, Steve Witkoff.
