BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 12. Azerbaijani Constitution has no geographical name or territory of modern Armenia, Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said during a panel discussion on "Challenges and Opportunities for Regional Cooperation in the South Caucasus" within the framework of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, Trend reports.
"Regarding Minister Ararat Mirzoyan's concerns about the Armenian side's Azerbaijani Constitution, first of all, this does not reflect reality. There is no geographical name or territory of the modern Republic of Armenia in the Azerbaijani Constitution. Our Armenian colleagues know very well, because otherwise they would definitely raise this issue, and the legal systems of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and all countries are more or less the same. You cannot conclude international agreements that contradict the constitution of the country," he explained.
