Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili discussed the restoration of the OSCE full-scale mission in Georgia at a meeting with Secretary General of this international organization Lamberto Zannier on Saturday.
The meeting was held within Ivanishvili's visit to Latvia, Prime Minister's office told Trend on Saturday.
The parties also discussed the priorities in relations between Georgia and the OSCE. The need for continued cooperation within the Geneva talks was stressed.
Ivanishvili and Zannier stressed the need to strengthen the work in the field of protection of human rights in Georgia's occupied territories.
They also discussed preparations for the presidential elections in Georgia, scheduled for October 27 and OSCE short-term and long-term missions' participation there.
Prime Minister Ivanishvili expressed his wish for many OSCE observers to be invited for the elections.
