The Georgian State Commission for integration into NATO has approved the country's annual national programme for 2014.
The commission's meeting was held by Georgian State Minister for Integration into European and Euro-Atlantic structures Alexi Petriashvili. Representatives of all state agencies included in the process of integration participated at the meeting.
Over Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili's signature, the approved document will be submitted to NATO headquarters for discussion by the NATO-Georgia commission. During the discussion of the document in Brussels, the Georgian side will be represented by Deputy State Minister for Integration into European and Euro-Atlantic structures, David Dondua and Deputy Defence Minister Mikheil Darchiashvili.
Georgia has carried out an annual NATO national programme since 2009. The document reflects those most important reforms which Georgia has carried out for rapprochement with the Alliance.
This document really reflects plans for future cooperation with NATO and a concrete action plan in 2014, Alexi Petriashvili said at the end of the meeting.
