The Georgian Interior Ministry published a statistics on the number of crimes committed in the country for the first nine months of 2013. The data reflects the crime situation in the entire country.

According to statistics received from the Interior Ministry, the number of crimes committed in Georgia declined to 5,589 incidents, the rate of detection increased by 37.2 per cent and amounted to 57.2 per cent in the first nine months of 2013 compared to the same period of 2012.

According to the statistics, the number of crimes committed in Georgia decreased by 644 units in September 2013 compared to the same period of 2012, and the indicator of detection amounted to 68.4 per cent.
