European tendencies are strong in Georgia, and the country will cope with all challenges, Head of EU delegation to Georgia, Ambassador Philip Dimitrov said on Monday, speaking at an international parliamentary conference.
"Georgia is a strong country, which has European traditions. Georgian people support European integration. It is important that the parliament has a tradition of debates. It is also important to transform Georgia into a parliamentary republic. Parliament's role increases when initialling association agreement. European tendencies are strong in Georgia, and the country will cope with all challenges," Dimitrov said.
