In January-May 2013, the domestic market of Azerbaijan received about 2.06 million tons of petroleum products, which is 9.8 percent more than during the same period in 2012, the State Statistics Committee told Trend.
Totally in 2012, the domestic market of Azerbaijan received 4.8 million tons of petroleum products, which is 8.8 percent more than in 2011.
As the committee stated, , the domestic supply of gasoline, diesel fuel, jet fuel, bitumen, liquefied natural gas and other petroleum products particularly grew in January-May, 2013.
More than 2.72 million tons of Azerbaijani oil products were delivered to consumers (including exports) in January-May, this year, which is 7.3 percent more than in the same period last year.
Of the total volume of oil products delivered to customers, 75.5 percent were sold in the domestic market and the remaining 24.5 per cent were exported.
