BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 27. President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has approved the law amending the "Law on the Efficient Use of Energy Resources and Energy Efficiency," Trend reports.
The amendments expand the sources of funding for the Energy Efficiency Fund.
The head of state signed a decree on "Amendments to the Law in Connection with the Implementation of the Relevant Legislation."
To note, the fund was formally established by decree in March 2024 and is the responsibility of the Ministry of Energy, with management led by the Energy Regulatory Agency.
