BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 28. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) held discussions with Harvard University’s Growth Lab Center on enhancing the resilience of the financial sector, expanding financial agility, and other related issues, Trend reports.
The meeting details were shared by the regulatory body on its X page.
"Governor of the Central Bank, Taleh Kazimov, held a meeting with Ricardo Hausmann, Founder and Director of the Harvard Growth Lab.
The discussion focused on the Central Bank's initiatives aimed at strengthening the transmission mechanism of monetary policy, enhancing the stability of the financial sector, and promoting financial inclusion, particularly through digital financial services," the publication reads.
To note, the Growth Lab at Harvard University endeavors to attain inclusive prosperity and a universally achievable quality of life. Under the leadership of Ricardo Hausmann, the Growth Lab integrates an academic research team, a policy research team, and a digital development team, functioning cohesively as a single unit. The research teams of the lab integrate empirical and theoretical investigations into the factors influencing growth and its social, political, and environmental sustainability.
