BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 29. The restoration of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity and sovereignty, as well as the liberation of Azerbaijani lands, creates new opportunities for economic cooperation across a broader geography, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said at a briefing following a trilateral meeting between Türkiye, Azerbaijan, and Uzbekistan in Ankara today, Trend reports.
"A new artery of the East-West Middle Corridor is currently being laid, namely through this region. We see huge prospects in this," added Bayramov.
The minister also emphasized the importance of finalizing the peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
"However, territorial claims and revisionist tendencies toward Azerbaijan, which remain in Armenia's Constitution and other legal acts, are a cause for concern. Azerbaijan will continue its constructive efforts in this regard," he added.
The 2nd trilateral meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Trade/Economy, and Transport from Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and Uzbekistan took place today in the Turkish capital, Ankara.
