BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 28. Baku will host events on transport and electronic advanced data for European and CIS countries from January 28 through January 30 on the initiative of the Universal Postal Union and Azerpost LLC, Trend reports via Azerbaijan's Ministry of Digital Development and Transport.
“The events, focused on promoting innovation in Azerbaijan's postal ecosystem, will include a seminar on postal transportation and training on electronic advanced data. The events aim to discuss the complexities and opportunities of the modern postal system with the participation of representatives of postal operators from Europe and the CIS, exchanging views on postal organization, including electronic advanced data, transport logistics, and postal security functions.
The advanced electronic data training will include sessions on a strategic approach to e-commerce, the use and integration of customs declaration tools and international postal systems, as well as bilateral meetings on the individual needs of participating countries' postal operators.
Meanwhile, the regional transport seminar will discuss important issues such as regional and national transport indicators, IT tools, the transition to paperless procedures, and the creation of regional transport hubs.
One of the key features of the seminar will be a panel discussion to facilitate dialog among postal operators. It will cover ways of solving emerging problems and the creation of regional hubs.
The events are aimed at providing postal organizations with the necessary tools and knowledge to improve their performance, as well as encouraging cooperation between postal operators in the region,” the information notes.
