TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, January 28. Uzbekistan and Pakistan discussed the development of the Termez-Karachi transport corridor, Trend reports.
The matter was reviewed during a meeting between a delegation from Uzbekistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry, led by Chairman Davron Vakhabov and NLC (National Logistics Cell), based in Pakistan.
As part of the discussions, the possibility of establishing an advanced logistics port in Termez, managed by Pakistan’s National Logistics Cell (NLC), was explored.
The sides also discussed strengthening bilateral relations and prospects for developing regional economic cooperation.
As a result of the meeting, joint steps were agreed upon to strengthen trade and transport ties between the two countries.
