The sixth meeting of the intergovernmental Georgia-Uzbekistan economic commission will be held in Tbilisi on Tuesday after the 9 year pause.

The Georgian side at the meeting will be headed by Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Michael Janelidze and the Uzbek side - Deputy Minister of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade Akmal Kamalov, Ministry of Economy of Georgia told Trend.

The main directions of economic cooperation between Georgia and Uzbekistan, including cooperation in trade and economic cooperation, transport, tourism, energy, agriculture, small and medium-sized businesses, and investments will be discussed at the meeting.

According to the Ministry of Economy, this meeting will contribute to further development of bilateral relations.
