BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 30. Countries around the world must apply pressure on Armenia to clarify the fate of missing persons, Aida Allahverdiyeva, a resident of Azerbaijan’s Khojaly district, told Trend.
Allahverdiyeva said that her husband and other close relatives went missing in Khojaly in 1992.
"Nothing is known about their fate to this day. My mother-in-law passed away longing for her son. My son has frequently visited our ancestral homeland since the liberation of Khojaly from occupation. Every time I come to Khojaly, I remember the horrors of 1992. We demand that the world apply pressure on Armenia to clarify the fate of our missing loved ones," she added.
