BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 30. On behalf of the families of missing Azerbaijanis, I would like to say to international organizations: we want our relatives who are listed as missing to be found, Chairperson of the “Karabakh Missing Families” Public Union Konul Behbudova said, Trend reports.
Behbudova gave the statement during a visit to the Azerbaijani cities of Aghdam, Khojaly, Khankendi, and Shusha by a group of family members of those who died in the First Karabakh War.
She emphasized that the Azerbaijani side must be provided with information regarding the burial sites of the missing.
“We want at least to have graves of our missing loved ones to visit. For three decades, our rights have been severely violated, and the world has turned a blind eye to our plight. Our patience has run out. We call on the United Nations, the International Committee of the Red Cross, and nations around the globe to restore our trampled rights. Armenia, which disregards the Geneva Convention, must be held accountable,” she noted.
