Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend K.Ramazanova / The Czech Republic supports the peaceable resolution of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh, Thomas Polar, the Czech Deputy Foreign Minister, who is currently visiting Azerbaijan, said on 1 November.
"We are familiar with the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and support a peaceable resolution for it," Polar said.
He said that this is the first official visit of the Czech Republic's top level delegation to Azerbaijan. During the meeting he will discuss Azerbaijan's relations with NATO and the European Union and agree upon the organization of visits of some minister from Czech Republic to Azerbaijan. During the meeting he will also discuss economic issues and projects in gas sector.
