BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 28. Ashig (traditional Azerbaijani musician title) Bafali Adigezalov, living and working in Georgia, has been awarded the "For Merits in Diaspora Activities" medal for his contributions to promoting Azerbaijani culture abroad, Trend reports via the State Committee for Work with Diaspora.
Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Work with Diaspora Vagif Seyidbeyov met with our compatriot at the committee and presented him with the medal.
Expressing his heartfelt gratitude to the Azerbaijani government for recognizing his efforts, Bafali Adigezalov stated that he will continue to do everything possible to promote Azerbaijani culture abroad, particularly ashig art in Georgia.
