BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 26. One of the crown jewels of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan is, without a doubt, the Batabat plateau, Trend reports.
The plateau is located on the territory of Shahbuz district, 65 kilometers from Nakhchivan city, at an altitude of 2,445 meters above sea level.
Batabat is a sight for sore eyes, no matter the time of year. Lake Batabat on the plateau adds a sprinkle of magic to this place. It draws a crowd of vacationers from Nakhchivan and other corners of Azerbaijan, along with a sprinkle of foreign tourists.
