FUZULI, Azerbaijan, October 26. The visit of a 33-member delegation of the British club Piki Reels to Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur has started today, Trend's Karabakh bureau reports.
According to the information, they set their sights on the international airport in Fuzuli, the gateway to Karabakh.
The group is led by the head of Piki Reels club, Belgian citizen Yves Bouvier. For three days, the group is set to hit the road along the Fuzuli-Khojavend-Shusha-Khojaly-Aghdam-Kalbajar-Lachin-Gubadli-Zangilan-Jabrayil route.
To note, representatives from prominent international travel clubs made the rounds to Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur a whopping 11 times between 2020 and 2024. Over 400 foreign travelers from upwards of 50 countries jumped on the bandwagon for these visits.
This visit by the British Piki Reels club marks their twelfth time at the well-trodden path. These trips are extremely important to promote the occupied territories within dark tourism and, at the same time, to showcase the extensive construction and restoration works underway.
