DUSHANBE, Tajikistan, October 25. The National Bank of Tajikistan and the Swiss National Bank have discussed the current level of bilateral cooperation, particularly in technical assistance, capacity building, digitalization, and climate issues, Trend reports.
The meeting took place between Firdavs Tolibzoda, Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan, and Martin Schlegel, Chairman of the Swiss National Bank.
They exchanged views on the forms of technical assistance related to resource management and reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining effective relations between Tajikistan and Switzerland.
On the same day, Tolibzoda met with a delegation from the Swiss multinational UBS Investment Bank. They discussed various topics, including global economic issues, financial cooperation, sovereign investor trends, and risks in the financial market, as well as opportunities for collaboration in international resource management.
The delegation from the National Bank of Tajikistan is participating in the Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group, taking place in Washington, DC, from October 21 through October 26, 2024.
