BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 25. New tourist information centers for COP29 are anticipated to commence operations in Baku to enhance services and assure the comfort of visitors in relation to the event, Ilkin Javadov, head of visitor services at the COP29 Azerbaijan Operational Company, told reporters, Trend reports.

He pointed out that this project is coming together hand in hand with the State Tourism Agency and the Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau.

"In addition to the COP29 information center situated on Seaside Boulevard, nine new information centers will be operational. Seven will be situated in the city, and two will be at the airport - Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 - commencing in November," Javadov added.

This November, Azerbaijan will host COP29. This decision was made at the COP28 plenary meeting held in Dubai on December 11 last year.
