Heydar Aliyev International Airport will switch to the autumn-winter flight schedule on October 27, 2024, which will remain in effect until March 30, 2025. Some flight schedules may change during the new season.

As part of the new season, 39 airlines, including 18 low-cost carriers, will operate flights from Baku Airport to nearly 80 destinations, including popular tourist and business routes. This season, the Maldivian capital Male has been added to the list of destinations, and the number of flights to Aktau, Jeddah, Doha, and Kuwait has increased, providing passengers with more convenient travel options.

Comprehensive preparatory measures have been implemented to ensure safe and uninterrupted airport operations during the winter season. Snow removal equipment and chemical dispersal systems are fully operational, and the frequency of cleaning the runways, roads, and pedestrian areas has been increased. Stairs and ramps have been equipped with special anti-slip tapes. In addition, diagnostics have been conducted on substations, lighting systems, and diesel generators to prevent potential malfunctions.

“Our top priority is to provide passengers with the highest level of comfort and safety at any time of the year, ensuring that every journey starts smoothly and pleasantly, leaving lasting and memorable impressions,” said the airport’s director, Teymur Hasanov.

Passengers are advised to monitor the latest flight information on the official websites of airlines and use available online services to minimize waiting times.
