ASTANA, Kazakhstan, October 25. VietJet Air, a Vietnamese low-cost airline, will soon begin direct scheduled flights to Kazakhstan's Astana, Trend reports.
The Kazakh Ministry of Transport is working actively to expand international connectivity, with new routes aimed at strengthening Kazakhstan’s ties globally. Starting in the fall-winter season of 2024-2025, VietJet Air will operate passenger flights between Phu Quoc and Astana twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays, utilizing A-330 aircraft.
This new route between Kazakhstan and Vietnam is expected to boost trade, economic investment, tourism, and cultural exchange between the two nations.
VietJet, Vietnam’s first private airline, launched in 2007 and became VietJet Aviation Joint Stock Company in 2011. The airline now operates 23 domestic and 10 international routes.
