BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 25. Adoption of a new unified ESG (Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance) standard will be announced in Azerbaijan in the coming days, the First Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency of Azerbaijan (KOBIA) Natig Hasanov said, Trend reports.
He made the remark at an event on "Communicating reforms in the business environment and information about electronic government services" in Baku today.
"A new unified ESG standard will be adopted in Azerbaijan in the coming days. This standard will be presented for the first time in Azerbaijan. It is expected to be finalized by the end of this month or the beginning of next month," he added.
To remind, recently, a presentation of the "Unified Digital Platform for ESG" concept took place in Baku.
