BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 28. The 2nd training session focused on fundraising was recently conducted as part of the "Diaspora Academy-2" project, titled "What is Fundraising? Major donor organizations of international and different countries, their activities, the topics for which they allocate grants," Trend reports via the State Committee for Work with Diaspora.
The head of the Political Technologies Center, Veli Alibeyov, provided participants with insights into the fundamentals of fundraising.
He covered key financial resource types, methods for attracting funds, financial management principles, strategic planning, and the development of fundraising strategies. Additionally, he discussed researching potential donors, effective communication and marketing, building relationships with donors, preparing marketing materials, and legislation related to fundraising.
During the interactive training, participants shared their experiences in the field and exchanged views. The trainer addressed questions that participants had regarding fundraising practices.
