Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend K.Zarbaliyeva / A soldier in the Azerbaijan National Army has died as a result of road accident.
Azerbaijan's Interior Ministry reported that on 28 November at nearly 00:10 a.m. in the Negram village of Babek, a district of Azerbaijan's Nakchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR), a 'Gazel' car driven by Gadir Allahverdiyev, a resident of the Julfa district, crashed into a military 'GAZ-66'car, stopped on the side of the road.
The soldier in the 'GAZ-66' car, Elchin Bagirov, and a passenger in the 'Gazel' car, Tofig Ismaylov, also a resident of Julfa, died at the scene.
An investigation is being held by Babek Police Department over the incident.
