Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend S. Ilhamgizi / The opposition parties of Azerbaijan organized a working group on 11 October to work on proposals regarding the amendments to the Electoral Code, a source stated in the Azerbaijan Classic Popular Front Party.
A congress took place at the party's office with the participation of fifteen political parties. A decision was made to prepare a joint packet of proposals on the Electoral Code. For this purpose, the congress of the working group will take place on 17 October to discuss the proposals of each party.
The meeting was attended by the representatives of the Azerbaijan Classic Popular Front Party, Azerbaijan National Democratic Party, Azadlyg Party, Azerbaijan National Independence Party, Umid Party, Great Establishment Party, Open Society Party, Khalg Party, Adalat Party, 'Way of Azerbaijan' political movement, and 'Our Azerbaijan' political bloc.
