BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 26. Azerbaijani referee Aliyar Agayev will referee a game in the Greek Super League, Trend reports via Idman.biz.
The FIFA referee has been appointed for the 34th-round match between Panathinaikos and Aris.
Agaev will be assisted by referees Zeynal Zeynalov and Akif Amirali in the game, which will be played in the championship group. The local referee, Fotis Polychronis, will act as the fourth referee. Andrea Fotopoulos and Kamal Umudlu have been assigned to VAR.
Panathinaikos is headed by Turkish specialist Fatih Terim. His team is in second place with 71 points. Aris is in 5th place with 49 points. The meeting, which will be held on April 28, will begin at 21:30.
To note, according to the decision of the Greek Football Federation, the games of the teams competing for first place are judged by foreign referees.
