Azerbaijan publishes banks' ranking by authorized capital volume

BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 26. Following the results of the first quarter of 2024, the International Bank of Azerbaijan ranked first in terms of authorized capital among the banks of Azerbaijan, Trend reports.

According to the financial report, the volume of the bank's authorized capital for the reporting period amounted to 1.2 billion manat ($705 million).

The second position in the rating was occupied by Yelo Bank, with total authorized capital amounting to 378 million manat ($222.2 million).

Xalq Bank ranked third with 364.7 million manat ($214.4 million) of authorized capital, PASHA Bank came fourth with 354.5 million manat ($208.4 million), and VTB Bank closed the top five with 315.8 million manat ($185.6 million).

The total amount of authorized capital of the first three banks is 1.9 billion manat ($1.1 billion), or 54.98 percent of the total amount of authorized capital of 10 banks in Azerbaijan (3.5 billion manat ($2 billion)), or 44.23 percent of the total amount of all banks in Azerbaijan (4.4 billion manat ($2.5 billion)).
