BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 26. bp as the operator of the Azeri-Chirag Deepwater Gunashli (ACG) field development project, has announced planned preventive works on the Deepwater Gunashli platform, the statement of bp said, Trend reports.
“Starting April 25, production from the Deepwater Gunashli platform has been suspended for 15 days so that planned preventive works can be carried out effectively,” bp clarified.
The works involve the replacement of valves, radioisotope sources, and other repair actions.
“The temporary suspension of the platform is included in bp's production plan for 2024,” the statement noted.
Production from other ACG platforms, as well as Shah Deniz field platforms, operations at the Sangachal terminal, and export operations via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan and the South Caucasus Pipeline (SCPC), continue as normal.
